Gravon MALEFIZ Championship 2008

Dear Malefiz Players,

below you find the Tourney-Rules about the Malefiz Championship 2008. If you need any additional information, please don't hesitate to contact our Tourney-Organisation "Sat" or "Paul".

We wish all players a lot of fun and success - your Admin Team.


Contents

In general:

  • Eligible are all players, who have a registered Gravon account till the end of the registration period.
    • Players, who are registered, but still have no rating will be evaluated with 700 points.
  • The tournament system (group phase with following K.O system) unfortunately requires firm numbers of participants.
    • possible are only: 16, 20, 32, 40, 64 or 80 players
    • the temporal sequence of the registrations is determining (e.g. with 35 registrations we take the first 32 or with 43 registrations the first 40).
    • Registered Players who cannot participate are substitutes in the order of their registration.
    • Substitutes can only join the tourney during the group phase, if the separated player doesn`t played any game.
  • The groups are formed like in the downward standing example so that each group shows an equivalent strengthens.
    • Deadline for the rating of a player (responsible for the group organisation) is the 31st of july 2008.
    • changes of the players rating doesn`t touch the group organisation during the registration period.
  • Please announce only if you have time enough to play the whole tournament.
  • Attempts to participate the tournament with a second reg. nick causes a Gravon bann.
  • Announced players who do not appear without apology or do not participate during the tournament were banned for future tournaments.


Tourney Organisation

  • Tourney Organisation is represented by "Sat" and "Paul".
  • Decisions, which are not mentioned here, are made by the Tourney Organisation in terms of "Fair-Play" for all players.
    This also includes game results
  • Any decision of the Tourney Organisation is final.

Awards

Place 1 to 3 can enjoy about a gold- / silver- and bronze colored nick for 8 weeks. insofar the game about place 3 / 4 is also important.
In addition "Sat" donates an ultimate winner cup for the Gravon Champion 2008. The winner recieves the cup by post after the tourney.
